The small and concentrated harvest off of Alexander Mountain Estate in 2015 resulted in lower yields but fuller-bodied phenolics. As always, the grapes for this methode traditionelle sparkling wine were hand-harvested, then whole-cluster pressed and tank fermented before undergoing tirage and bottle fermentation in January 2016. Disgorged in April 2022, this phenomenally elegant vintage leads with aromas of lemon and brûléed sugar followed by brioche. On the palate, the flavors open up to custard, lemon pith and a honeycomb finish, all balanced with racing acidity.
