Rockfall Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon red wine is one of our most dramatic vineyard locations, situated above the fog-line at 2,200 feet elevation. Mountaintop sun exposure imparts textural depth and richness to the wines, and a uniquely complex formation of bedrock under the vineyard contributes to the wine’s distinctive minerality. Planted vertically up the steep slope with a 30% grade and positioned to face south, we refer to this block as the ‘solar panel’ for the abundant sunshine it receives.
